We are a recruitment business with an entrepreneurial DNA. Our Founder, Jamieson Hodgson, has invested in and grown multiple businesses since 2001. He started Shawfield & Sloane to provide the level of attention to detail that he craved while personally recruiting over 500 people.

From functional role requirements to company culture, we want to understand everything about the business that we are recruiting for. Our mission is for Shawfield & Sloane to provide the level of care and understanding that I wish I had received over the last 20 years.

While there is no perfect formula for providing successful recruitment, you can significantly increase the odds of success by taking the time to understand the fundamentals of the role, the client and the market in which it operates within.

Jamieson Hodgson, Founder

Jamieson is joined in Shawfield & Sloane by his Partner, Emma Sims, who is an experienced real estate recruiter with an extensive background in property and hospitality, which has resulted in a large network of long-term relationships and industry knowledge. She has recruited across the entire property life cycle worldwide, placing C-suite down to entry level staff. She is highly passionate about real estate, developing relationships, and sourcing talent.
